The boat trip to Antiparos island is only ten minutes from Pounta which is a small port in Paros island. You can reach Pounta by bus or taxi from the main port of Paros called Parikia. There are about 1000 residents in Antiparos according to the census of 2001. Most local people live in Kastro, a village in the north coast of the island.
